Samsung F17 India Price, Specs & Features Leak Ahead of Launch

Samsung is reportedly preparing to expand its mid-range smartphone lineup with the upcoming Galaxy F17, following last month’s launch of the Galaxy A17. Recent leaks suggest that the F17 will mirror several features of its A-series counterpart while introducing minor upgrades.
The Galaxy F17 is expected to feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display, complemented by a 90 Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass Victus protection. It will offer IP54 certification, ensuring resistance against dust and splashes, while maintaining a slim 7.5mm profile.
Under the hood, the smartphone will run on the Exynos 1330 processor, paired with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Photography capabilities are highlighted by a triple rear camera setup: a 50 MP main sensor with optical image stabilization, a 5 MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2 MP macro camera. On the front, a 13 MP sensor will handle selfies and video calls.
Powering the device is a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 25W wired charging, though the box is not expected to include a charger. Software-wise, the Galaxy F17 will operate on Android 15 with Samsung’s One UI 7, and the company has promised six major Android upgrades over its lifecycle.
Pricing is expected to start at Rs 14,499 for the 4GB RAM variant and Rs 15,999 for the 6GB option. Observers have noted that these specifications largely resemble those of the Galaxy A17, suggesting the F17 may be a rebranded variant for a different market segment.
The device is expected to appeal to users seeking a mid-range phone with large display, robust battery, and long-term software support. Samsung has yet to confirm the official release date, but anticipation is building following the recent leak.
